I can't believe I'm doing this song lol, anyways, this is another unique song from Angela Aki called Uchuu which means Universe, I love the song because it has a very unique chord progressions and tempo arrangement. It took me awhile to figure out the tempo change from 4/4 to 3/4, but I surely had fun learning and performing this song. I purposely did a faster rythm on the real chorus towards the end coz I think it brings more life and contrast to the song, and by the way I made this based on the Live at Budokan version. I think I did quite a couple of mistakes here and there but I think I'm pretty happy with the final result of the song. As usual, no music sheet coz I'm playing by ear, and hope you could enjoy it. Ok ok, first of all let's have a newsflash: Angela has 2 new songs, Again which she sang for the Mezamashi TV theme and this song Kodoku no Kakera, which is the OST for TV drama Kodoku no Kake, BUT the best of all is...*drum roll* her new album will be out on August!! =D So, this is a preview of Kodoku no Kakera, the single will be released on May 23rd, so let's support Angela and buy her CDs. If you notice, I'm wearing a maroon shirt. My prayer extends to those who lost their dear ones during the VA Tech incident, may they find comfort in these difficult hours. By the way, the video's a bit out of sync in some parts, I think it's because I uploaded the MPEG file instead of the AVI and something's messed up during the conversion to FLV. As usual, I don't have music sheet so don't ask for it as the song's not even out in the market yet. At first I wanted to do a full multi-track with the horns and full string parts, but since it's only a preview for now so I didn't do anything fancy here =].
